I have gone over 2000 miles with the EV. The longest distance traveled in one day was 77 miles and I could have gone further. The power steering is installed and works great. I have a switch which means I can save the power for range.

We had a huge rain storm and I had no problems with the EV in wet conditions.

    Good for you. I saw your post on the nearly defunct "make mine electric" blog spot and hopped on over to yours.

    My wife and I have booked ourselves a Nissan Leaf. We couldn't handle all the home mechanic aspect of a DIY conversion... but it must be so incredibly fulfilling to have done it all yourself. I know the guy in NZ had an amazing story to tell and his Video was great - I watched them all
